Product Description
The original Blur LT was an awesome versatile performer. Whether on sweet, fast singletrack or hammering down steep and rocky terrain, it had the nimble handling and the strength to do both with ease. The VPP suspension also made it a great climber. The engineers at Santa Cruz were not satisfied so they stuck their nose to the drawing board and made the new Blur LT not just a better performer but also performed a little plastic surgery to create one of the coolest looking bikes on the dirt.
If you could only have one bike to ride a variety of conditions, the new Blur LT is the one.
The new features are:
Sculpted frame design with more standover height.
Redesigned linkages and pivot bearings with grease ports.
Geometry designed for 140 -160mm forks.
Strong 15mm pivot axles with redesinged pivot system that creates a stiffer chassis.
Replaceable dropout.
140mm of rear wheel travel.
More tire clearance. Up to a 2.5 tire will fit.
Extra cable stops on the underside of the top tube for a Gravity Dropper or Crank Brothers Joplin adjustable seatpost. Try one and you'll never go back.
Same weight as the Classic Blur LT.
